St Stephen's church tower is one of the most prominent landmarks in the city of Bath. Situated on the slopes of Lansdown Hill, at the point where Lansdown Road forks for Richmond Road, this beautiful tower is visible from many parts of the city and from the countryside beyond.

The tower is a much loved local landmark; it is the focal point for the Lansdown community and a beacon of Christian faith. As a distinctive feature of the Bath skyline it is integral to the architectural and historic significance of this World Heritage city.

It is estimated that it will cost....

around £500,000

....to rectify, restore and refurbish the tower to ensure its long term stability.

You can donate in several different ways, it's easy to give securely online via this site using the left hand link to our page at justgiving.co.uk. Alternatively you can send cheques by post, or donate in person at the church offices.

Using a giftaid form will help us get the maximum benefit from your generous support.

We are pleased to announce that we are now well into the third and final phase of the appeal.

The Tower Appeal needs to raise this final sum before Christmas to complete the lower level restoration. This will include ramped access to the church, and landscaping around the base of the tower.

The renovated clock in its black paintwork with its hourly chime will return soon.
